Obligation to provide information according to the Battery Act & WEEE

Old batteries do not belong in household waste. You can return used batteries to our shipping warehouse free of charge. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return old batteries.

Batteries containing pollutants are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out garbage can and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that is decisive for the classification as containing pollutants:

  1. “Cd” stands for cadmium.
  2. “Hg” stands for mercury.
  3. “Pb” stands for lead.

Note on disposal of old devices

Vaporizers, chargers and associated charging cables sold by us may no longer be disposed of in household waste as of March 24, 2006. Private households and commercial enterprises can return the devices free of charge to municipal collection points (recycling centers) in normal household quantities.

In addition, we undertake to take back any packaging that has been put into circulation at our location free of charge in accordance with Section 15 Paragraph 1 No. 1 of the Packaging Act.
